Notice on Tax Obligation Set-off arrangement with PSMAS

NOTICE TO MEMBERS

10 March 2016

Tax Obligation Set-off Facility with Premier Services Medical Aid Society (PSMAS)

Following our Saturday 5 March 2016 CME meeting with ZIMRA, this is to confirm and advise you that the tax obligation set-off facility with PSMAS, introduced in the fourth quarter of 2015, is currently NOT active. PSMAS however officially wrote to ZiMA on 7 March 2016 indicating that it is in the process of pursuing a set-off arrangement for Service providers with ZIMRA through the Ministry of Finance and is encouraging providers to submit their tax invoices covering the last three (3) months to them.

ZiMA is therefore, recommending that members submit their tax invoices, covering the last three (3) months, to PSMAS Managed Care Department, through PSMAS head office or through the nearest PSMAS branch offices.
